One of the things I hate about dieting or trying to maintain my body weight is that sometimes you have to compromise on the things you love to eat.

For example… ICE CREAM 🙂

Well, with this recipe you can forget about sacrificing anymore. This is a fantastic way to create an easy and delicious substitute for ice cream. It’s low in fat, low in calories as well as low in carbohydrates.

Here’s how to make this delicious recipe…

Low-Fat Ice Cream Substitute Recipe

Just take a bowl and add the following ingredients (this makes one serving.)

  • 1/4 cup fresh berries (your choice)
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 5 almonds, coarsely chopped

Spoon the yogurt into a bowl… add the berries and chopped almonds.  If it’s a little tart for ya… you can add a packet or two of Splenda or Stevia.  Spoon it into a silicone muffin tin (the silicone tin really works best for freezing stuff) and freeze it overnight.

This is perfect as a post workout snack…

Just scoop out a single serving and get ready for an experience that you won’t forget 🙂
